The Aggies finished up their regular season, sending outgoing seniors Dexter Akanno, Aubin Gateretse, and Ian Martinez in style by handling the Air Force Academy 87-47.
The game ball will go to sophomore guard Mason Falslev. Falslev scored a team-high 18 points, hitting 8 of his 10 shots from the field, and stroking 2 of 3 shots from beyond the 3-point line. He pulled down 2 offensive boards and 5 defensive boards for a team-leading 7 rebounds on the night. He also dished out 4 assists and swiped 2 steals.
The Aggies now turn their attention to the post-season and the Mountain West Conference Tournament as they await the UNLV vs. Air Force game’s winner on Wednesday, March 12th. The Aggies will take the court for the first time in the tournament on the evening of Thursday, March 13th.
