Utah State picked up a verbal commitment last night from former university of utah forward Zach Keller. Keller is a 6-foot-10, 235-pound senior who will use his final season of eligibility when he joins the Aggies for the 2025-26 season. Keller committed to the Aggies just days after his official visit to the Utah State campus last Sunday.
Last season, Keller saw action in 28 games and averaged 2.8 points per game while shooting 56.1% from the field, 40.0% from behind the three-point line, and 38.1% at the free-throw stripe. He also pulled in 1.4 rebounds, handed out 0.6 assists, and swiped 0.2 steals per game.
During his 3-year career with the utes and Wake Forest, Keller played in 72 games with 14 starts, and averaged 2.2 points per game while shooting 43.9% from the field, 28.8% from behind the three-point line, and 45.7% at the free-throw stripe. According to 247sports, coming out of Thunder Ridge High School (CO), Keller was rated as the 94th-best player nationally, the 17th-best power forward, and the number one player in the State of Colorado. He originally held offers from Arizona, California, Colorado, Colorado State, Illinois, Santa Barbara, TCU, utah, Utah State, Virginia Tech, and Wake Forest. Keller chose the Aggies over offers from Nevada and several other Mountain West schools.
Keller is the second commitment of the Aggies’ 2025 spring recruiting cycle, joining Texas A&M-Corpus Christi forward Garry Clark.
