Utah State has signed former byu defensive lineman Carson Tujague. Tujague is 6-foot-3, 280 pounds, and will enter the 2025 season as a redshirt freshman who will have four years of eligibility remaining.
Tujague spent just one season in provo and utilized his redshirt option after returning from serving an LDS Church mission.
According to 247sports, coming out of Western Albemarle High School (VA), Tujague was rated as the 244th-best linebacker nationally, and the 47th-best player in the State of Virginia. He originally held offers from byu (preferred walk-on), Florida International, and Navy. Upon entering the transfer portal, it appears that Utah State was his only offer.
Tujague becomes the Aggies sixth post-spring ball transfer portal addition, joining Elon cornerback Dylan Tucker, Purdue offensive lineman Jimmy Liston, California EDGE rush defensive end John Gayer, New Mexico State defensive tackle Naki Fahina, and byu punter Landon Rehkow.
Big kid but didn’t draw any attention in the portal. I am concerned that Bronco is taking anybody to get a roster. Not what I expected.
