Utah State has received a verbal commitment from Mountain View High School (AZ) quarterback Brady Goodman. Goodman is 6-foot-4, 205 pounds, and will join the Aggies for the 2026 season. Goodman just completed his official visit to the Utah State campus last weekend and made his decision shortly thereafter.
As a junior last season with the Toros, Goodman started in all 14 games, completing 202 of 314 passes (64.3%) for 3,087 yards, 43 touchdowns, and just 4 interceptions. He also carried the ball 79 times for 435 yards and 11 touchdowns. Goodman led his squad to a 12-2 record and an appearance in the Arizona 6A championship game. He also garnered 6A Offensive Player of the Year, 1st team all-Arizona, and Fiesta Region Player of the Year honors.
According to 247sports, coming out of Mountain View High School (AZ), Goodman was rated as the 134th-best quarterback nationally, and the 32nd-best player in the State of Arizona. Goodman chose the Aggies over offers from North Texas, Northern Arizona, and Wyoming.
Goodman becomes the third commitment for the Aggies recruiting class of 2026, joining Canyon High (TX) running back Jackson Regan, and Episcopal High (VA) defensive tackle Curtis “Tiki” Bell.
