Utah State has received a verbal commitment from Ridgeline High School (UT) offensive lineman Easton Hammond. Hammond is 6-foot-3, 270 pounds. Hammond will join the Aggies for the 2026 season. Hammond was on his official visit to Utah State this weekend and wasted no time pledging his commitment.
As a junior last season with the Riverhawks, Hammond started all 13 games on the offensive line. His squad finished with a record of 12-1 and a trip to the Utah State Playoffs 4A semi-final round.
According to 247sports, coming out of Ridgeline High (UT), Hammond was rated as the 163rd-best interior offensive lineman nationally and the 26th-best prospect overall in Utah. Hammond chose the Aggies over offers from Air Force, Pennsylvania, utah, and Weber State.
Hammond becomes the seventh commitment for the Aggies recruiting class of 2026, joining Canyon High (TX) running back Jackson Regan, Episcopal High (VA) defensive tackle Curtis “Tiki” Bell, Mountain View High (AZ) quarterback Brady Goodman, Thunder Ridge High (CO) tight end Preston McDaniel, Grandview High (CO) linebacker Brody Flores, and Katy High (TX) wide receiver Cade McCall.
It looks like Bronco and staff are recruiting all over the country.
And especially utah.
The new coaching staff has done a nice job this round of summer recruiting. They picked up commitments from nearly every kid who visited and each kid RAVED about how they were treated by the coaching staff.
