Utah State has received a verbal commitment from Bingham High School (UT) offensive lineman Lucas Neidig. Neidig is 6-foot-7, 245 pounds and will join the Aggies for the 2026 season. Neidig has visited the Utah State campus unofficially and can’t wait to return for his official visit once the recruiting dead period ends on September 1st.

As a junior last season with the Miners, Neidig started all 11 games on the offensive line. His squad finished with a record of 5-6 and a trip to the Utah State Playoffs second round.

Neidig chose the Aggies over an offer from Northern Arizona.

Neidig becomes the eighth commitment for the Aggies recruiting class of 2026, joining Canyon High (TX) running back Jackson Regan, Episcopal High (VA) defensive tackle Curtis “Tiki” Bell,  Mountain View High (AZ) quarterback Brady Goodman, Thunder Ridge High (CO) tight end Preston McDaniel, Grandview High (CO) linebacker Brody Flores, Katy High (TX) wide receiver Cade McCall, and Ridgeline High (UT) offensive lineman Easton Hammond.
