Utah State has received a verbal commitment from Green Canyon High School (UT) offensive lineman Luke Baker. Baker is 6-foot-8, 275 pounds. It’s unclear at press time if Baker will join the Aggies in 2026 or choose to enroll at a later date.
As a junior last season with the Wolves, Baker started all 11 games on the offensive line. His squad finished with a record of 8-3 and a trip to the Utah State Playoffs quarterfinals.
Baker chose the Aggies over an offer from Northern Arizona and Weber State.
Baker becomes the ninth commitment for the Aggies recruiting class of 2026, joining Canyon High (TX) running back Jackson Regan, Episcopal High (VA) defensive tackle Curtis “Tiki” Bell, Mountain View High (AZ) quarterback Brady Goodman, Thunder Ridge High (CO) tight end Preston McDaniel, Grandview High (CO) linebacker Brody Flores, Katy High (TX) wide receiver Cade McCall, Ridgeline High (UT) offensive lineman Easton Hammond, and Bingham High (UT) offensive lineman Lucas Neidig.
