Utah State has received a verbal commitment from Jackson Hole High School (WY) quarterback Grant Johnson. Johnson is 6-foot-2, 203 pounds, and will serve a church mission before joining the Aggies for the 2028 season.
Johnson totaled 215 completions in 315 attempts (68.5%) for 2,725 yards, 35 touchdowns, and 8 interceptions. He also tacked on 41 carries for 86 yards and a touchdown with the Broncs in 2025.
Johnson chose the Aggies over an offer from Northern Colorado.
Following the February 4th signing period yesterday, Johnson becomes the first high school commitment and the fifty-fifth overall signing/commitment for the Aggies recruiting class of 2026
