Utah State has picked up a verbal commitment from Wright State University guard Solomon Callaghan. Callaghan is a 6-foot-2, 195-pound junior who will have two years of eligibility left and join the Aggies for the 2026-27 season. Callaghan was on the Utah State campus over the weekend for his official visit.

Last season, Callaghan saw action in 33 games with 31 starts and averaged 10.2 points per game while shooting 41.7% from the field, 39.9% from behind the three-point line, and 92.6% at the free-throw stripe. He also pulled in 1.9 rebounds, handed out 1.1 assists, and swiped 0.5 steals per game.

During his 2-year career with the Raiders, Callaghan played in 65 games with 42 starts, and averaged 8.4 points per game while shooting 41.2% from the field, 38.7% from behind the three-point line, and 88.1% at the free-throw stripe. He also pulled in 1.7 rebounds, handed out 1.2 assists, and swiped 0.4 steals per game.

At press time, it is unclear which schools had interest in Callaghan.
