Utah State has received a verbal commitment from Davis High School (UT) wide receiver Sam Coleman. Coleman is 6-foot-2, 190 pounds, and will join the team in 2027. Coleman is currently on his official visit to the Utah State campus.
As a junior last season with the Darts, Coleman played in 8 games with 8 starts and snared 10 passes for 111 yards and a touchdown. His squad finished with a 10-2 record and a trip to the quarter-final round of the 6A Utah State Playoffs.
Coleman chose the Aggies over offers from Air Force and Army.
Coleman is the Aggies fifth commitment for the Aggies recruiting class of 2027, joining Cedar Falls High (IA) linebacker Brayden Hanks and Green Canyon High (UT) offensive tackle Dakota Calverley, Westlake High (UT) wide receiver Malik Sika, and Horizon High (AZ) wide receiver James Klopfenstein.
