Utah State has received a verbal commitment from Westlake High School (UT) wide receiver Malik Sika. Sika is 6-foot-3, 200 pounds, and at press time, it is believed he will join the team in 2027. Sika took his official visit to the Utah State campus last weekend and took just a few days to make things official with the Aggies.
As a junior last season with the Thunder, Sika played in 11 games with 11 starts and snagged 66 passes for 1,176 yards and 19 touchdowns. His squad finished with a 7-4 record and a trip to the second round of the 6A Utah State Playoffs.
Sika chose the Aggies over offers from Hawaii, Navy, New Mexico, San Diego State, Utah Tech, and Weber State.
Sika is the Aggies third commitment for the Aggies recruiting class of 2027, joining Cedar Falls High (IA) linebacker Brayden Hanks and Green Canyon High (UT) offensive tackle Dakota Calverley.
