2026 OUTLOOK

JIMMY LISTON
Junior Jimmy Liston was the starter here last season, and I expect him to start at this spot again.

As a sophomore last season, Liston played in 13 games with 13 starts. He logged 853 snaps and recorded 37 pancake blocks.

During his 3-year career at Utah State and Purdue University, he has played in 17 games with 13 starts. He racked up 853 snaps and recorded 37 pancake blocks.

According to 247sports, Liston was rated as the 1,385th-best player nationally, the 58th-best center, and the 28th-best player in Illinois. He chose the Aggies over offers from Arkansas State, Ball State, Kennesaw State, Kent State, Liberty, New Mexico State, Sam Houston State, and Tulsa. He originally held offers from Arizona State, Ball State, Central Michigan, Cincinnati, Florida Atlantic, Mississippi, Penn State, Purdue, and Texas Tech.

Liston is a mauler who aggressively tries to get his hands on an opposing defender and punish him. His strong lower body gives him a sturdy base. He also displays good balance once the ball is snapped. He possesses outstanding awareness in pass protection and gap responsibility. His improving quickness and flexibility make him a threat to pull on run plays. He plays with a tough, rugged throwback style. He has the required mean streak needed to be successful as an offensive lineman. His snaps are on target, and he quickly gets his head up to engage with an opposing defender. He has NFL-level football intelligence. He can play center or both guard spots.

EASTON HAMMOND
True freshman Easton Hammond will spend fall camp gaining valuable experience to help the Aggies in the near future.

As a senior last season at Ridgeline High (UT), Hammond played in 14 games with 14 starts.

During his 4-year high school career with the Riverhawks, Hammond saw action on the offensive line in 53 games and was a starter in all 53 of them.

According to On3 Sports, Hammond was rated as the 1,958th-best player nationally, the 187th-best interior offensive lineman, and the 27th-best player in Utah. He chose the Aggies over offers from Air Force, Pennsylvania, utah, and Weber State.

Hammond is an aggressive young player who actively seeks out blocks. He will keep his head on a swivel and put his helmet on any opposing defender in his path. He properly uses his lower body to drive opposing defensive linemen backward and out of the play. He displays good footwork and lateral movement, and his light on his feet makes him highly effective when pulling. His upper-level mobility helps him get out in front of the ball on screens. His high-motor and physical nature allows him to more than hold his own in both the run game and pass protection. Although he projects as a guard, he is capable of playing any position along the line.

CHANTZ CHARGUALAF
True freshman Chantz Chargualaf will spend fall camp gaining valuable experience to help the Aggies in the near future.

As a senior last season at James Campbell High (HI), Chargualaf played in 12 games with 12 starts.

During his 2-year high school career with the Sabers, Chargualaf saw action on the offensive line in 23 games and was a starter in all 23 of them.

According to On3 Sports, coming out of James Campbell High School (HI), Chargualaf was rated as the 2,802nd-best player nationally, the 282nd-best interior offensive lineman, and the 23rd-best player in Hawaii. He chose the Aggies over an offer from Hawaii

Chargualaf plays with a low center of gravity. His powerful lower body allows him to stonewall opposing defenders at the line scrimmage. His mobility helps him negate the pass rush from opposing defensive players. He has the size and ability to anchor the offensive line for years to come, with his ability to road-grade the opposition in the run game. He knocks defenders off balance and uses his strength to win his one-on-one matchups.
