2026 OUTLOOK

COLLIN REMENOWSKY
Senior Collin Remenowsky is a transfer from Ashland University and has two years of eligibility remaining thanks to the new 5-years-to-play-5 ruling handed down by the NCAA

As a junior last season with the Eagles, Remenowsky played in 13 games with 0 starts. He logged 11 carries for 43 yards and 1 touchdown. He also recorded 1 reception for 19 yards and 1 touchdown.

During his 3-year career at Ashland University, he has played in 33 games with 0 starts, totaling 19 carries for 95 yards and 1 touchdown and 4 receptions for 53 yards and 1 touchdown.

According to On3 Sports, Remenowsky was rated as the 2,874th-best transfer portal player in the country and the 232nd-best running back in the transfer portal. He chose the Aggies over offers from Central Florida, Iowa State, Miami (OH), James Madison, and West Virginia. He originally held offers from Alderson Broaddus University, Campbellsville University, Charleston, Dayton, Mercyhurst University, Ohio Dominican University, Valparaiso, and Walsh University.

Remenowsky will do a great job serving as a lead blocker from the rhino position. He seems comfortable in heavy sets. He is a physical, hard-nosed blocker who thrives on blowing up any opposing defensive player who gets in his way. He will be a valuable asset to the offense, contributing in short-yardage and goal-line situations. He possesses reliable hands out of the backfield and will be able to act as a safety valve or leak into the flat for receptions. There will be several times this season where he gets the crowd on its feet after trucking over some poor opposing defensive player for extra yardage.

TYLER MASDEA
Graduate senior Tyler Masdea is a transfer from Shippensburg University who will use his final season of eligibility with the Aggies in 2026. Masdea makes the move to the rhino position after spending his entire collegiate career as a defensive tackle.

As a junior last season with the Raiders, Masdea played in 10 games with 9 starts. He logged 17 tackles, 3.0 tackles-for-loss, 1.5 sacks, and 1 forced fumble.

During his 4-year career at Shippensburg University, he has played in 30 games with 22 starts and totaled 55 tackles, 15.0 tackles-for-loss, 4.0 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and 1 fumble recovery.

Masdea chose the Aggies over offers from Bryant, California (PA), Citadel, Indiana State, Lamar, Minot State, New Hampshire, Northern State, Sacramento State, Seton Hill University, Stony Brook, and Youngstown State.

Masdea is a high-motor physical player who should easily make the transition from defensive tackle to the offensive side of the ball at the rhino spot. His aggressive style of play will serve him well, as lead blocking will be his primary responsibility. He will seek out opposing defensive players and do his best to open wide running lanes. He has displayed surprising mobility, which will help him get out in front of the running back on sweeps and screen passes. Coming in as a fifth-year player should slow the learning curve for him.

STOCKTON PYNE
Sophomore preferred walk-on Stockton Pyne will add depth to the position.

As a redshirt freshman last season, Pyne spent the season as a member of the Aggie practice squad as a defensive lineman.

During his 2-year career with the Aggies, Pyne has not seen any game action.

During his 2-year career at Camp Station High School (TN), Pyne played in 19 games with 10 starts and totaled 116 tackles, 15.0 tackles-for-loss, and 4.0 sacks.

Pyne has developed a good, strong frame that will allow him to take a beating as a fullback. His natural athletic ability has allowed him to play both offense and defense during his time at Utah State. He has good footwork and speed, which will be a big plus, as he provides lead blocking for sweeps and run plays between the tackles. His high motor and lower-body coordination will allow him to get out and put a solid block out in open space. His long wingspan will keep opposing defensive players from getting hold of him and slowing him down. His play diagnosis is a big part of his game.
