Utah State has picked up a verbal commitment from Westminster Christian Academy (MO) shooting guard Will Powers. Powers is 6-foot-4, 180-pound and will join the Aggies for the 2027-28 season.
Last season, Powers saw action in 28 games with 28 starts and averaged 22.1 points per game while shooting 36.6% from behind the three-point line. He also pulled in 7.6 rebounds, handed out 3.1 assists, and swiped 2.0 steals per game.
He chose the Aggies over offers from Austin Peay, Belmont, Bradley, Colorado State, Illinois State, Kansas State, Miami (OH), Northern Iowa, Northwestern, Saint Louis, Southern Illinois, and Wyoming.
Powers is the Aggies’ first commitment of the 2027 recruiting cycle.
