Utah State has received a verbal commitment from Bishop Gorman High School (NV) wide receiver Kaina Watson. Watson is 6-foot-1, 175 pounds. Watson will join the Aggies in time for the 2026 season.
Watson had a standout season for the Gaels in 2025, hauling in 52 passes for 951 yards and 10 touchdowns. He helped lead Bishop Gorman to an 11-1 record and a Nevada Open Division State Championship victory.
According to 247sports, Watson is rated as the 1,921st-best player nationally, the 225th-best wide receiver, and the 12th-best player in Nevada. Watson chose the Aggies over offers from Cal-Poly and Hawaii.
Watson becomes the nineteenth signing/commitment for the Aggies recruiting class of 2026 and the first since the December 3rd early signing period.
