The Aggies notched their tenth Mountain West Conference win of the season by dominating the second half and pulling away from the University of New Mexico Lobos by the score of 86-66.
My game ball will go to true freshman WING Adlan Elamin. Elamin notched a double-double, scoring 11 points, hitting 3 of his 9 shots from the field, stroking 2 of 7 shots from behind the three-point line, and knocking down 3 of 4 free throws. He pulled down 1 offensive rebound and 9 defensive boards for a total of 10 rebounds on the night. He also dished out 2 assists and swatted a shot.
Elamin currently averages 7.2 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.5 blocks per game.
The Aggies will now hit the second game of their two-game road swing on Saturday, February 7th, when they face the University of Wyoming Cowboys for the second time in just over two weeks.
