I’m going to hand out two offensive game balls this week.

My first offensive game ball has to go to graduate junior quarterback Logan Bonner. During the Aggies 35-10 win over New Mexico, Logan completed 16 of 23 passes for 306 yards and 5 touchdowns. With the 5 touchdown passes he moved into a tie for first with single game touchdown passes. He also moved into a first-place tie with former Aggie quarterback Jordan Love for touchdown passes in a season with 32.

My second offensive game ball is going to graduate senior wide receiver Derek Wright. During the Aggies 35-10 victory over New Mexico, Derek hauled in 4 passes for 150 yards and 2 touchdowns. His long reception of the day went for 76 yards and a score.

I’m also going to hand out two defensive game balls this week.

My first defensive game ball has to go to graduate defensive end Nick Heninger. During the Aggies 35-10 win over New Mexico, Nick racked up 10 tackles, 3.0 tackles-for-loss, 2 forced fumbles, and 1 fumble recovery.

My second defensive game ball is going out to junior defensive end Byron Vaughns. During the Aggies 35-10 win over New Mexico, Bryon corralled a career high 8 tackles, 2.0 tackles-for-loss, and 1 pass breakup.

My special teams game ball is going to sophomore punter Stephen Kotsanlee. During the Aggies 35-10 regular season ending win over New Mexico, Stephen booted the ball 6 times for 264 yards, which was good for an average 44.0 yards per punt. He had a long punt of 52 yards, dropping 2 punts inside the 20-yard line, and recording 1 touchback.
