I have two game balls to hand out for the Aggies HUGE 90-87 overtime victory at the University of New Mexico yesterday afternoon.
My first game ball is going to go to senior power forward Justin Bean. Justin had his usual efficient afternoon on the offensive end scoring 21 points while hitting 9 of 16 shots from the field, nailing 1 of 2 three point tries, and connecting on 2 of 3 free throw shots. He also notched his 35th career double-double after pulling down 2 offensive rebounds and 9 defensive boards for a total of 11 rebounds on the night. He also racked up 3 assists and 4 steals.
My second game ball is going to sophomore point guard Rylan Jones. Rylan broke out of a scoring slump scoring 10 points by going 4 of 9 from the field and hitting both of his free throw attempts. He also collected 1 offensive rebound and 2 defensive rebounds for a total of 3 rebounds. He was a catalyst on the offensive end dishing out 8 assists while also adding 1 steal.
