I’m have to go with two game balls to award for the Aggies HUGE 75-57 win over San Diego State Tuesday night.
My first game ball is going to go to senior power forward Justin Bean. Justin played a huge role in the Aggies victory by scoring 13 points while hitting 4 of 11 shots from the field, 1 of 3 from 3-point land, and going a perfect 4 of 4 on his free throw attempts. He also pulled down 1 offensive rebound and 12 defensive boards for a total of 13 rebounds on the night. He also handed out 5 assists and 2 steals.
My second game ball has to go to sophomore point guard Steven Ashworth. Steven got the Aggies going early and was a major contributor to the victory by scoring a team high 17 points while hitting 5 of 10 shots from the field, 5 of 10 from 3-point land, and going a perfect 2 of 2 on his free throw attempts. He also let the Aggies from the 1 spot by dishing out 5 assists. Steven also pulled down 2 defensive rebounds and swiped 2 steals.
