Utah State picked up a verbal commitment on the afternoon of April 30th from former Montana State power forward Great Osobor. Osobor is a 6 foot 8 245-pound transfer who has two seasons of eligibility remaining and will join the Aggies for the 2023-24 season. Osobor just left Logan after coming on his official visit on April 23rd and 24th. After a solid sophomore season at Montana State, Osobor was named the 2022-23 Big Sky Sixth Man of the Year. Over the course of his two-year career, Osobor has averaged 8.0 points per game while shooting 64.5% from the field, 25.0% from behind the three-point line, and 64.4% at the free-throw stripe. He also pulled in 4.4 rebounds, handed out 0.8 assists, and swiped 0.6 steals per game, along with 0.7 blocks per game. Prior to committing to the Aggies Osobor received offers from Bowling Green, Buffalo, Duquesne, Georgia, Hofstra, Montana State, North Carolina-Greensboro, North Texas, Penn State, and Portland.
