Utah State picked up a verbal commitment this morning from former Coastal Carolina University WING Josh Uduje. Uduje is a 6 foot 5 200-pound transfer who has two seasons of eligibility remaining with a redshirt season available if he ever needs it. He will join the Aggies for the 2023-24 season. Uduje came to Logan for his official visit over the weekend of April 21st and has taken his time in choosing where he would like to finish up his collegiate career. As a sophomore in 2022-23, Uduje led the Chanticleers in scoring and steals. Over the course of his two-year career, Uduje has averaged 9.9 points per game while shooting 42.2% from the field, 31.9% from behind the three-point line, and 81.6% at the free-throw stripe. He also pulled in 3.3 rebounds, handed out 1.0 assists, and swiped 0.9 steals per game. Once he entered the transfer portal, Uduje became a hot commodity and hauled in offers from Arkansas State, Bakersfield, Boston University, California, Davidson, DePaul, Duquesne, East Carolina, Eastern Washington, Fullerton, George Mason, Georgia Tech, Grand Canyon, Hawaii, James Madison, Louisville, Loyola Marymount, Montana, Murray State, North Carolina-Wilmington, Oral Roberts, Oregon State, Providence, Rice, Richmond, Riverside, San Jose State, Santa Barbara, Seattle, Seton Hall, South Dakota, St. Bonaventure, St. John’s, Towson St, Tulane, Utah Valley, Vanderbilt, Virginia Commonwealth, and Xavier.

This guy should make a big impact from both sides of the court.
We already have lots of recruits picked up in the last two weeks. Who’s not gonna be staying?
Hey Marcus! Right the players that have made the decision to enter the transfer portal are, Steven Ashworth (Creighton), Sean Bairstow (Virginia Commonwealth), Zee Hamoda (PORTAL), Rylan Jones (PORTAL), Cade Potter (High Point), Max Shulga (Virginia Commonwealth), and Szymon Zapala (PORTAL). By my count, we should still have two open scholarships. Thanks for checking out my site Marcus!!
