This week I’ll be handing out two recruit of the week awards.
My first recruit of the week is going to Corner Canyon High (UT) wide receiver Tate Kjar. In a 45-24 regular season-ending win over Herriman High (UT), Kjar turned in a monster game hauling in 10 receptions for 161 yards and 2 touchdowns. After steamrolling much of their competition this season Kjar and the Chargers are now waiting on their next opponent as the 6A Utah State Playoffs begin this weekend.
My second recruit of the week is going to Helix High (CA) quarterback Ryland Jessee. In a 58-0 route over Santana High (CA), Jessee turned in a highly efficient game completing 6 of 7 passes for an astounding 161 yards and three touchdowns. Jessee and the Highlanders are steamrolling toward their 9th straight win this Friday night on the road against undefeated Granite Hills High (CA).
