After a tough 21-42 road loss to San Jose State University, I will be handing out two offensive game balls this week.

My first offensive game ball is going to junior wide receiver Jalen Royals. In what is beginning to become a regular appearance, Royals pulled in four receptions for 60 yards and a touchdown. His scoring plays covered 20 yards. Royals has now scored an astounding eight touchdowns over the last four games.

My second offensive game ball is going to junior wide receiver Micah Davis. Davis is beginning to turn in a solid first season in an Aggie uniform and caught 4 receptions for 57 yards and a touchdown. His scoring play covered 25 yards. Davis has now pulled in five touchdown passes this season.

My defensive player of the game is also becoming a regular here each week and goes to graduate senior linebacker MJ Tafisi. Tafisi finished the game with a solid 14 tackles, including six solo tackles and eight assisted tackles. He also forced a huge Spartan fumble in the redzone that was recovered by an alert teammate preventing a possible Spartan score.

My special teams player of the game goes to redshirt freshman punter Ryan Marks. Marking just his second full game as the active punter, Marks booted the ball five times including a long punt of an incredible 75 yards for an average of 49 yards per punt. Marks also landed one of his punts inside the 20 and had two punts of over 50 yards.
