Utah State picked up a verbal commitment this afternoon from Rochester Community and Technical College (MN) EDGE rush end Keshawn Johnson. Johnson is a 6-foot-3 235-pound junior college transfer who will join the Aggies for the 2024 season with three years to complete his final two seasons of eligibility. Over the course of two seasons for the Yellowjackets, Johnson has amassed 128 tackles, 15.5 tackles-for-loss, 6.5 sacks, 2 interceptions, a pass breakup, and 2 forced fumbles. Johnson was named to the Minnesota College Athletic Conference first-team both seasons. At the time of his commitment, Johnson had offers from Alabama A&M, Morgan State, and Wayne State. Johnson is the first junior college commitment and the sixth commitment overall for the Aggies 2024 recruiting cycle, joining Casteel High (AZ) offensive lineman Camden Jury, Helix High (CA) quarterback Ryland Jessee, Lehi High (UT) tight end Grayson Brousseau, and Corner Canyon High (UT) wide receiver Tate Kjar, and Mater Dei High (CA) linebacker Tanner Williams.
