My game ball today will go to graduate senior power forward Dan Akin. During the Aggies 91-89 victory over the University of San Diego, Akin had a big game for the Aggies as he scored a team-high 21 points while hitting 7 of 11 shots from the field and connecting on 7 of his 11 attempts at the free throw line. He pulled down 5 offensive rebounds and 10 defensive rebounds for 15 boards on the night. He also blocked a shot. Akin and the 4-0 Aggies look to keep their season-opening winning streak intact next Tuesday returning to the friendly confines of the Spectrum when they take on the 2-2 Oral Roberts University Golden Eagles.
