For the first time in nearly a handful of weeks, I will name two recruits of the week.
My first recruit of the week is going to North Shore High (TX) quarterback Kaleb Maryland. Maryland led the Mustangs to a 71-7 drubbing of Kingwood High (TX). Maryland was lights out all night long, completing an efficient 10 of 14 passes (71.4%) for an amazing 337 yards and five touchdowns. He also scampered for 15 yards on 4 carries. Maryland and the Mustangs have won 4 straight games and will be looking for their fifth straight when they hit the road to take on Goose Creek Memorial High (TX), Friday night.
My second recruit of the week is going to Mountain View High (AZ) quarterback Brady Goodman. Goodman led the Toros to a 48-20 victory over Buena High (AZ). Goodman was on target all night as he rattled off 15 of 18 passes (83.3%) for a solid 254 yards and five touchdowns. He also picked up 25 yards on the ground on two carries. Goodman and the Toros have won 2 straight games and will be looking for their third straight when they welcome Red Mountain High (AZ) two weeks from Friday.
