Utah State has received a verbal commitment from California linebacker Harrison Taggart. Taggart is 6-foot-1, 235 pounds, and will join the Aggies in time for spring ball and have one year of eligibility remaining.
Taggart saw action in 12 games with the Golden Bears in 2025 and totaled 38 tackles, 2.0 tackles-for-loss, and 1 pass breakup.
According to On3 Sports, Taggart is rated as the 654th-best transfer portal player nationally and the 63rd-best linebacker. Taggart chose the Aggies over an offer from Baylor.
